Samsung recently paused the rollout of its highly anticipated One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 series, Z Flip 6, and Z Fold 6 — claiming it was due to a mysterious issue causing devices to not unlock properly in some situations. However, after thorough investigation by users and the online community, no such problem has been reported anywhere.

I searched YouTube, Reddit, forums like XDA, and other tech platforms — not a single user has come forward with video or written proof of this so-called "unlocking issue." If it truly existed, it would have flooded the internet, especially considering how massive the Galaxy user base is.

This raises serious questions:

Is Samsung lying to its users? Is this just a strategy to delay the update and push S25 sales?

The reality seems obvious. Once the S24 receives One UI 7, it would get nearly the same features as the newer S25, making it hard for Samsung to justify the price gap. So what’s the easy fix? Delay the update and create false concerns to make the S25 look more appealing.

By pulling the update and blaming it on vague issues, Samsung is disrespecting its loyal customers and treating them as if they don’t deserve the truth. This is not just a mistake — it’s a marketing move disguised as a technical issue.

Until Samsung provides solid, verifiable proof of the issue, users have every right to feel deceived and disappointed.

The company should respect its community and deliver on its promises, rather than hiding behind excuses for the sake of profits.

They should actually stop selling old models when new model comes. Instead they always opt to sell older midels as far as 2-3 years old at lower prices. Stupid strategy
