Why the software updates did not come in the s9 series Now that 12 has come, and yet 10 in the s9 series, so we need to get the exact answer

Samsung promised 2 OS updates as per their Update Policy for S9 series and S9 has already got 2 OS updates ( android 9 & 10 )
So it WON'T get any OS updates...and promised 3yrs of Security patch updates so it may not even get that too as it's a 4yrs old phone now...
