After updating my GS8+ to stable android 9.0, I am experiencing that if I crank up the resolution to maximum (2960×1440), the back side of the phone where the processor lies near the flash heats up rapidly even when I don't use the device. This problem was not there in the pie betas. This is very irritating as for people who like to use the maximum resolution like me are not able to do it.
