S7 edge having low geekbench score

Post January security update... Geekbench score is less..... Device has become slow too, laggy and battery dies off quickly. Have to charge it 3 times on heavy use. Hope Samsung india will give oreo on S7 edge soon or atleast before 2019....
Or they ll tell again Google should send them updates...

Note 8 is beyond 1980 in single score and iphone X is 4200 in single score

That is actually more that what is expected from an S7, if anything the update made your phone faster, at least in benchmarks.

Thank you for being with Samsung and sharing your concern. We would like to inform you some steps:-

• Utilization of maximum storage from internal memory, may hang your device. For that we recommend you to delete some of the downloaded data from your phone for better performance as internal space should be 20% free OR’ transfer data to SD Card via My Files.

• (Phone Application>>My Files>>Select Multimedia Data>>Press More>>Click Move>>Select Location of SD Card>>Click Move Here). menu> smart manager>clear ram.

• Stop running application (Setting >>Application Manager>>Running>>Stop All Downloaded Application When Not Using).

• Check all the applications are closed by using the Task Manager option.

• Scan SD card and then check.

• Software update handset (Setting>>About Device>>Software Update>>Update) update using 3G/4G or Wi-Fi connectivity.

• Go to setting>General>Application Manager>All>Tap on 3 dots (right top) ‘Reset app preference’.

What about giving oreo update.. No mention of oreo update on S7 edge? All are telling it ll come soon. Will it come before April 2018 or April 2019?
