Hi, I am using original samsung's 45w charger with 5A cable. My s25 ultra takes 1hr 30mins to charge from 0-100%. I have even tried with in box cable of 3A, it also takes 1.5hrs. It should take approx 1hr to fully charge. Any advice how to solve this issue?

Install Accubattery app from Google Playstore. Check the temperature of the mobile while charging. If it crosses 40 deg C then charging slows down / stops in order to protect the battery. This happens more in summer. If that is the case get a small table fan to cool the phone while charging. I got a small USB fan from Amazon and use that wherever I am in a non AC room in summer months. And I am assuming you have Fast Charging enabled in settings / battery / charging settings ...

Okay. Also, If you use the phone while it is charging, the temperature will cross 40 deg C after a few mins - even - with light apps like FB, WA and web browsing ... then charging will slow down / stop.

Hey hello, I am having S24 ultra, have been facing similar delay in charging times as u mentioned.
Have been through a lot of articles online, the actual reason is because 45w fast charging protocol automatically slows down after reaching around 75% to protect battery health, while 25w charging allows to fast charge till 85% then slows.
This causes the phone to charge at the same time when u charge from 0-100% with either of the charging methods.
Sadly there's no way out except Samsung has to give any software update to resolve this

So if want to experience the real difference between those 2 charging protocols try testing it at different percentages i.e. around 80% to visually see the potential of fast charging as Samsung claims....
Kindly accept my comment as solution if u r satisfied with the answer
