Should I use camera lens protector on s25? These camera lenses are too bumpy and looks fragile.

It depends on what case are you using?

Lens protectors reduce the picture quality irrespective of brand and price. They introduce optical aberrations and thus not adviced.

I extensively researched this topic due to my concern about scratches on lens but it led me to reconsider installing a lens protector.
While lens protectors offer some protection, they are largely a marketing ploy. Phone lenses are designed to be quite scratch-resistant.
Some drawbacks users faced-
1)While offering some protection, they can sometimes negatively impact camera performance.
2)Furthermore, removal can leave adhesive residue, potentially damaging the lens.
3) In some cases, the protector itself has caused lens scratches. My recommendation is to purchase a case with a raised camera bump which is sufficient for protection.

If you still want complete camera protection, you can also consider the Spigen Optik Armor case. Its sliding camera cover ensures 100% lens safety.

All camera lenses have anti reflection coating; can be seen as a deep blue or deep gold in colour if viewed from an angle; the protectors destroy the coating. The coatings are few microns thick. Once the coating is damaged lens quality goes for a toss.
