S24 series: ONEUI 7 delay!

Disheartening to see Samsung lagging behind on updates while Google is already working on Android 16.

Phones priced at half the S24 Ultra’s cost have been running Android 15 for months. What exactly are we paying a premium for? If Samsung’s 7-year update promise starts with delays and excuses, it’s hard to trust their long-term commitment. 

Flagship users deserve timely software parity with the competition, not last-year’s OS while newer models get prioritized. Samsung, clarify the roadmap for One UI 7/Android 15.If budget brands can deliver updates faster, why can’t your ‘flagship’ team? Loyal customers deserve answers, not silence.

Fix this delay, or many of us will start looking for brands that respect their customers.

"One UI 7 is huge update,it takes time to settle"...all these are rubbish excuse..ios 18 was also huge aesthetically,they manage to give timely update to all user,, yes there were bugs and issues,, trying to rectify through small update..so basically samsung is just delaying to sell s25 series,,which is 90 percent same as s24 series except processor and some AI mumbo jumbo..

Hypocrisy: 7-year updates. Samsung's updates are useless; too much patience is needed for stable updates in May. Because the S25 series is here, I must change my Samsung phone to another brand.

Totally agree. Samsung’s 7-year update promise feels like a marketing gimmick when they can’t even deliver stable updates on time. Waiting until May for a stable release while other brands are already on Android 15 is unacceptable.
I’m also considering switching to another brand.

Leading the mobile experience means delivering on promises, not making users wait endlessly.
Samsung started releasing Android 14 to its Galaxy devices in October 2023, We are in 2025. April/May is unacceptable.

Yeah, I get it. But the difference between One UI 7 and the older ones is huge, right? It's the best out there now.

Samsung's aiming for a really big improvement, that's why it's taking so long.

One UI 7 is the best thing that ever happened in Samsung history. Let's hope for the best. 😇

Bro, If One UI 7 isn’t ready, how is it already running on the S25 series? It’s almost too obvious that Samsung is intentionally delaying the update for the S24 to make One UI 7 features exclusive to the S25 and boost its sales.
The updates in the S25 are minimal, so this feels like a cheap tactic to create artificial demand.

Don't think New software available soon, it's impossible, just checkout Google is already moving towords Android 16,Apple is going very ahead he was immediately provides New update along with nrw model.
All china mdels Non Flagship devices are already Android 15 with Box.
