I have a routine made that keeps Data Off when Wifi is ON.

However, this isn't working as the phone detects wifi router connectivity rather than internet availability on the router wifi.

How can it be changed so that Wifi internet fails, then Data is On

To solve the issue, you can modify your routine by adding a condition that checks for internet connectivity. Here's how:Open the "Modes and Routines" app on your Galaxy S24.Edit your existing routine or create a new one.Add a condition to check for Wi-Fi connectivity and internet access.Set the action to turn on mobile data when Wi-Fi has no internet access. This way, your phone will automatically switch to mobile data if the Wi-Fi connection loses internet.

Agreed. But could you also highlight how to get the internet access option? I couldn't find it 😪

To access the "Internet access" option in Samsung's Routines:

  1. Open the "Modes and Routines" app on your Galaxy S24.
  2. Tap on "Add condition" when creating or editing a routine.
  3. Look for "Wi-Fi" under "Network" conditions.
  4. Select "Wi-Fi network status" and then choose "Connected" and "Internet access" from the options.

Thanks. But note the following.
I have already chosen a Wi-Fi network. It doesn't show an internet connection explicitly.
In this routine, I never find it switching to Data mode automatically whenever my phone is connected to a router but without internet.
I had always been required to turn off wifi manually to turn on data.

I think the internet connection option isn't there in the routines which is a bummer.
