I am experiencing two green lines and one pink line on the display of my Samsung Galaxy S23, which is related to a software update. The phone has not sustained any physical damage, and there are no external factors that could have contributed to this issue. I am confident that this is a software-related problem and not one that was caused by user negligence.


Despite being a loyal Samsung customer and purchasing a premium device, I was informed by the service center that my request for a free replacement was denied due to the fact that my phone was purchased overseas. I was offered a paid repair service, amounting to INR 9,000, which I believe is unfair given that this issue appears to be related to a software glitch rather than any physical damage.
As a long-time Samsung customer, I am deeply disappointed that an international brand with a reputation for quality and customer satisfaction would fail to provide support in such situations. I had expected a better resolution, especially considering the fact that my phone is relatively new and the issue has arisen due to a software update, which should be covered under warranty.
I kindly request that you review this matter and provide a satisfactory resolution, as I believe this is a clear case of a software issue that Samsung should address, irrespective of the country of purchase. I am also in the process of exploring legal options, including filing a complaint with the consumer court, if the matter is not resolved amicably.
I trust that Samsung values its customers and will take the necessary steps to ensure customer satisfaction. I look forward to your prompt response and hope for a resolution at the earliest.

My friend is facing the same issue. Each week he comes to me and says that he has got a new line on his phone. Kindly address this issue
