Edge lighting is a cool feature on the S23. Let's troubleshoot why the Edge lighting style might not be working:

Possible Causes
1. *Edge lighting disabled*: Ensure that Edge lighting is enabled in Settings > Display > Edge screen > Edge lighting.
2. *Notification settings*: Check if notifications are allowed for the apps you want to trigger Edge lighting. Go to Settings > Apps > [App name] > Notifications.
3. *Edge lighting style not selected*: Verify that you've chosen a lighting style in Settings > Display > Edge screen > Edge lighting > Lighting style.
4. *Software issues*: Sometimes, a software glitch can cause Edge lighting to malfunction. Try restarting your device or checking for software updates.

Troubleshooting Steps
1. *Restart your device*: A simple reboot can often resolve software-related issues.
2. *Check for software updates*: Ensure your device is running the latest software.
3. *Reset Edge lighting settings*: Go to Settings > Display > Edge screen > Edge lighting > Reset.
4. *Clear cache and data*: Clear the cache and data of the Edge screen app (Settings > Apps > Edge screen > Storage > Clear cache and Clear data).

If none of these steps resolve the issue, consider contacting Samsung support for further assistance.
