Samsung has switched back to OpenGL as the APL (Application Programming Layer) in the latest update, instead of continuing with Vulkan, which was used in Beta 1 and Beta 2 software updates.
Vulkan offers significant advantages over OpenGL - many users had noticed better battery life and improved performance when Vulkan was used.
It's disappointing to see Samsung move away from Vulkan in the stable release.
