Dear Valued Customer,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I understand how frustrating it can be to see a persistent update notification for the Samsung Music app even after you've updated it, especially when it appears to be a bug affecting your experience.
Based on recent reports and feedback from other users, we are aware that some devices running OneUI 6.1 have encountered this issue—even when the Music app has been updated to the version also running on OneUI 7. Our engineering teams are actively investigating the root cause of this problem.
In the meantime, please consider the following troubleshooting steps:
Clear App Cache:
• Navigate to Settings > Apps.
• Find and select Samsung Music.
• Tap Storage and then select Clear Cache.
Reinstall the App:
• Uninstall the Samsung Music app from your device.
• Restart your phone and reinstall the latest version from the Galaxy Store or via Software Update.
Check for System Updates:
• Go to Settings > Software Update to ensure your device has the latest system updates installed, as these updates sometimes include bug fixes.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact your nearest Samsung service center or reach out to us with your device details and software version. Your feedback is crucial, and it helps us prioritize bug fixes in upcoming updates.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience as we work to resolve this matter.
Best regards,
Samsung Customer Support
