I observed that the OneUI 6.1 Latest update is giving an unexplained error for updating the applications from Playstore. It has only taken place after the latest update.

The applications having updates available in the playstore are successfully downloaded, but while installing it says updating applications failed.

Raising the concern with Google Play doesnt work as well.

Has anyone else also faced a similar issue?

Try going to "Security and Privacy" > App Security > app protection, click the 3 dots in the upper right corner > App protection settings > disable "auto scan when installing apps".

This does not work. Tried clearing the cache by going to storage of the said Google apps!
