Galaxy SI bought my S22 ultra UAE variant on 25 March 2022. There are no problems found during my daily usage.
But suddenly last month when i received new update and successfully updated after that suddenly green light band appeared on my screen and the left portion of the display showing tinted color/mixture of green appeared without any reason I don't know.
My device have no physical damage or I have dropped my device never ever. Its display motion smoothness frequency was set to Adaptive.
I found from various sources and even in the Samsung Mobile community also, that some people using S22 Ultra bought from various regions are facing with this same issue. Some have Green band on the left side and some of them got it on the Right side next to the camera cutout. But the problem is the same.
After all this, I contacted Samsung Customer Care and they took my phone remote, whatever steps they are saying, I had already done those like reset settings, switch on off, factory reset etc.
and they requested me to submit my device to the nearest Samsung service center which i did by paying AED 50 to create a ticket.
and created false report about physical damage to the phone which is actually never happen.
now they are asking me to pay the screen replacement charges which is completely unacceptable.
this is clear factory defect which customer should not bear the cost for repair.
