Hi, I just received my Samsung Galaxy s22 Plus and see that it does not offer extra storage or an option for headphone jack. Having a headphone jack and extra storage capabilities what made Samsung phones better than iPhones Because wireless connections aren't always reliable, they always have to be charged, oftentimes Bluetooth connections aren't very stable, and even adapters that I have the 3.5 mm port have many problems and cability issues. This is very frustrating to be excited about the new Samsung phone just to know that The things I value most about Samsung phones have been removed. Having the reliability of plugging in headphones while on a video call Not only gives me the best sound quality but gives me the best connection and security for the conversation, especially when in public locations... Which is often. Even the technology of having a more reliable wireless connection does not solve the problem.

I take a lot of video and pictures with my phone while on vacation and I'm not always in a place where I have service or Wi-Fi accessibility. It's nice to know that I can bring several micro SD cards and fill them up with 8K videos and pictures and not have to waste time downloading the footage to a computer so I can delete it from my phone to clear up storage to continue to use my camera again. With external storage I can just take the card out of my phone and plug it into my computer and continue to use my phone while the files copy. By taking away that feature, you then tie me to my computer or the cloud which neither are convenient in most scenarios.

I am very disappointed that Samsung has chosen to follow the trends that Apple sets when those trends lessen the value/usability of their products. It's nothing to fill up a 256 gig card with 4K/8K video.

Please bring back the 3.5mm port and the capabilities of adding external storage. They offer the most convenient and the most reliable options of storage and listening on a phone. It makes no sense to remove them.

Buddy this is very old news... Samsung had removed SD card and 3.5 mm jack very very long back.
If you were not aware abt it and then purchased S22 series, then its your mistake only...
Best wishes and good luck

You can use the connector jack or usb-c earphones. Sad, that you didn't check the features which matters so much to you before purchasing the phone.

Try the A Series, they kind of come with these features, one thing what I noted was with more and more IP6x rating making phones very much water resistant, probably new models may come with esim and fast wireless charging removing all the ports, could be very soon...

Well A series comes with ip67 and all these ports/headphone jacks(A52,A52s). However these were the last of A series to come with headphone jack I guess.

Maybe pick one A52s before it disappears if the headphone jack and a samsung phone is the preference
