How do you use a USB C key / storage on the S22 Ultra? How do you activate this setting in the Settings "Connections"  ??
I do not find this setting ?
The S22 Ultra does not recognize the USB C device which is Fat32 and works on my laptop.
I tried downloading a file reader OTG but the app also did not recognize the C device.
Does the S22 Ultra have this provision ??

simply put the usb type c storage which you are using in your laptop/pc and format it by going into its properties and then select set to default. then maybe your usb type storage might work.

Thank you Karan. I did that but it does not help.
Incidentally the USB drive is recognized on my older Note 9.
My Files on the S22 Ultra does not recognize the USB drive whereas it does on the Note 9.
This is definitely a software issue which had not been addressed by Samsung. There are no Settings to enable this function.

Simple Plug and Play without any Software or Settings.
My S22 Ultra can Read NTFS Formated 2TB External Drive without any third party Software.

Are you implying that it cannot read a FAT32 formated USB and instead can only read a NTFS formatted USB ?

Roshan, I formatted the drive to NTFS but it was still not recognized. So this is not the issue.

Issue resolved. My phone has a Samsung Flip case and the USB pen drive was not going into the C slot fully- the reason it was not being recognized.
And on advice of the Sam support centre I went through various processes, even a factory reset. And then advised to take it to the repair centre. That was when as a last resort I removed the case and tried the pen drive.
I feel so silly 🤪
