I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding the handling of my Galaxy S22 Green line issue . The service experience has been frustrating, and I am particularly upset about the conflicting statements I have received regarding the repair denial.

During our call, you mentioned that the repair of my device's display could not be done free of cost due to minor scratches, which you claimed disqualified it from eligibility for free service. However, in the email I received later, it was stated that my phone is physically damaged, which is absolutely untrue.

This inconsistency is unacceptable, and it feels like Samsung is attempting to avoid responsibility by misrepresenting facts. Minor scratches, which naturally occur after regular usage over two years, cannot and should not be equated with physical damage. To clarify this matter, I request the following:

1. Proof of Physical Damage:
Please provide photographic evidence and all inspection-related documents that substantiate the claim of physical damage to my phone.

2. Explanation of Inconsistency:
I would like a detailed explanation as to why I was given two entirely different reasons for denying the free repair—first, minor scratches on the call and later, an untrue claim of physical damage in the email.

3. Acknowledgment of My Call Recording:
Please note that I have recorded our call, where you clearly stated that the reason for the repair denial was minor scratches. I am prepared to escalate this matter further if necessary.


I have been a loyal Samsung customer for years, but this experience has shaken my confidence in your brand. The green line issue on my phone is a direct result of a Samsung software update, and it is unfair to burden me with the cost of repairs caused by your software defect.

I urge you to review this matter with fairness and transparency and provide a prompt resolution. Failing to address this issue properly will leave me no choice but to escalate this matter to consumer forums and social platforms.

There is not a single dent on my phone, nor has there been any physical and water damage, my phone is not repairing free of cost just because there is a mark on the chrome of my phone which is only by the phone cover.

Literally I faced the same issue, and I got the same response.
It's horrible and Samsung should take responsibility for such issues.
