As far I can recall, I have never ever got such a battery backup on my S21 FE. I bought the phone on September, 2022 and from the day 1 I have always charged the battery to 85% and put it on charge again at 20%. Still, I never got such a battery backup. Now after the One UI 6.1 update, the Maximum battery protection stops the charging at even lower 80%. Still I got such a battery backup till 20%.
Has anyone experienced the same thing?
