After January update I can see 5G network from jio side. But network was not stable.

After this update you must need to wait for jio to give a true 5G data pack for the same. Then it'll show. I've already an activated sim which I used to put in iphone that's why true 5G AUTOMATICALLY UPDATED. You need to wait for sometime. Even the 5G is not stable so can't say that the update is perfect or not for standalone network support.

He must have enabled welcome offer using other device and put back sim.

That I've have. But before this update it was not showing 5G. That time also it was activated sim for 5G. After the second update for December it is showing now the 5G signal

If you see the 5g it's OK... it's normal that the network is not stable it will take some time till the network will be stable and have the same cover as 4g

Yes you're saying the right thing and this is only possible in samsung... Other mobile companies updates are not giving that much good and buggy services ☺️

Yesterday I had December security patch update but 5g is still not working on jio

December 2nd update in 2nd January... That update partially enables the 5G on Jio . But the network was highly unstable so can't say it is perfect or not

Check device network mode settings
Please follow the below steps.

Step1: Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings.
Step2: Tap on Connections.
Step3: Tap on Mobile networks.
Step4: Tap on network mode SIM1 or SIM2.
Step5: Select network mode.

Note: We recommend to set device network mode as LTE/3G/2G (auto connect) mode.

Check network operator settings
Kindly set device network operator as "Automatically".

Please follow the below steps.

Step1: Navigate to apps screen and tap on Settings.
Step2: Tap on Connections.
Step3: Tap on Mobile networks.
Step4: Tap on Network operators.
Step5: Select automatically.
Note: We recommend to set device network operators as LTE/3G/2G (auto connect) mode.
Step6: Tap on OK.
Step7: Registered on network.

In case the issue still occurs. Please register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Get help > Send Feedback > Error report).
