S20 " lift to wake" not working 😕

Since last few days I am noticing lift to wake is hardly working. I am use to unlocking device using finger print since i bought S20 in March 20 and it worked fine when screen is locked n off, but few days back  I switched to face unlock and when ever I pick my device for face unlock it just won't work. I need to push side button to wake up my device and den it detects my face. Out of 10-20 try it worked once .  Lift to wake is not responsive at all. Is anybody facing this issue.

I have rest my phone but still no luck.

it does work but less than twice or thrice in 10 tries

you've to test gyroscope and accelerometer. type *#0*# in your phone keypad. it will display service menu. click on sensors and you will see the values updating when you move your phone. You can perform all hardware tests there.
