S20 Ultra (Exynos Processor) is 🤴

Recently a YouTuber called MrWhoseTheBoss published a video comparing S20 ultra snapdragon 865 and exynos chip. According to him exynos processor is 20% slower.

Facts #Snapdragon processor only ships in US and Samsung has to pay royalty to Snapdragon for each phone sold.

#Exynos can be clocked to surpass snapdragon processors but overall functionality is taken into consideration by the company. 

#Have you used the device? I am a s20 ultra owner and trust me when I say this in real life there is no lag whatsoever. Everything is buttery smooth and snappy. 

#Benchmark tests can never be trusted to examine a device performance . One + have fooled people in the past by getting a higher score by tweaking their devices .

Moreover Mrwhosetheboss had a review unit.  So rather than bashing samsung. Use the device first and judge the phone.  No offense youtubers  create videos bashing brands for views and subscribers.  One last thing  s20 ultra in India costs 13 thousand less and it's not a 5g version too as 5g is nonexistent in India.

I don't want to see your post to find the differences. I am from a tech background. All am saying is it doesn't affect me so much and isn't a deal breaker even though sd 865 is faster
. A13 is way more faster than sd865 . Why not use a13 bionic by paying apple. That's not the point right. It about individual preferences.

well yes i prefer Snapdragon so i get better worth for my money.

well i was excited when exynos was announced, thought it would be optimised like A chips for iPhones but it turned out it didn't.

so it's more like a choice for better profit over a better product.

You must be having a laptop right. The processor in it must be from Intel or Amd. Your phone has more or equivalent ram in it and a14 bionic chip as well as SD 865 is way more powerful than Intel chips . Does that mean you throw your laptop out ???

yes i have a laptop but I'm not getting anything by throwing anything away.

i think it's better anyone get a laptop or phone which gives better worth to your money .

No, I'm not saying exynos is total USELESS but competitively it is BAD.

and i won't throw anything away .

You can't ignore the fact that Samsung can provide Snapdragon but it doesn't.

Samsung can optimize exynos to be better than Snapdragon but
it didn't .

Samsung can change this, it might... if we vote for exynos then purpose of raising a issue is defeated.

it's bad because of thermal throttling in general its ook but heating issues are high on this processor also one ui is not optimised to the mark

Overall bro the architecture in Exynos this time is Inferior to the Snapdragon (A76 in E990 vs A77 in SD 865). Even last year we were treated to inferior lithography process in the form of 9820 (8nm)vs 855 (7nm).
SD chips are cheap, they cost about 60$ per piece but the performance gain is tremendous and we Indians who pay one of the highest prices for flagships should not be discriminated with.
It was brave of Arun Maini to bring this to limelight as many of us are suffering even after paying a price premium.

I couldn't agree more as I myself have paid my hard-earned money to get this device. But I must tell u one thing. iPhone still uses a generation old display, restriction environment and some features are not even there on iPhone but still people are ready to pay top price for it . That's my point. Samsung exynos has flaws and isn't perfect but I am not getting affected by it to be quite honest.
