One UI 5 Review 🫡
- Arrived last week 18th as One UI 4 wrong changelog.
- I have factory set as good as new
- only around 30 req apps that I use total with system around 70
- Most unused either removed or disabled
- Most optimized settings, only ON those things when req.
- Google apps in Sleep and rarely used in deep sleep
- 120Hz All time.
🔴 Issues in One UI 5🔴
Let's start with the issues noticed so far.
1. No Google discover swipe from left. 💩 Samsung FREE is there
2. During One UI 5 event Samsung spoke about Maintenance mode for 5 min but that's not there in many device including mine.
3. Ads in Game launcher still which they told will removed back in 2021
3. Exy💩nos 990 is still running in underclocked mode due it's nature.
4. Lockscreen clock issue as it gets to default size even if it made large
5. Lockscreen clock touch to view the widget lags
6. Lockscreen to Home using PF after gaps of use lags 💩
7. Recent Apps swipe jitter is there
8. Screen recorder is still 💩
💚 Good ones 💚
1. compared to UI4 - UI5 runs stable not so much issues
2. Not even single app crash or major hang.
3. Test Ran GB, YES after Andorid 11 this is 1st time scores on Exy💩nos 990 is touching 900 points
4. CPU test 50threads 10min scores still same throttled to 85 - 88%
-Animations
5. Coming to Animations. after using UI3,UI4 with jumpy out off place 💩, UI5 this feels like slow-mo smooth
6. App open,notif.panel,app folders,recent apps all are giving slow-mo feel
7. App closing is still bit jumpy and widget closing is bad worst. for anim. its not anything big can say 50-50
-Misc
8. Blur effect in all UI is 🔥 looks good now
9. also Color palette is extened to many stock apps. Other 3rd party app are useless
10. widget stack is useful but no auto rotate
11. Multi task swipes are 🔥
12. extract text is useful, will save bit time at work
13. Goodlock🔥no complaints

14. No improvements. Still same even after this much setups As standard Max 3.45hrs SOT from 100 - 15%
