S20 FE Portrait mode telephoto

I like the new Samsung camera app on the S20FE. But given there is a 3x telephoto lens present, shouldn't we atleast have an option to take live focus / portraits through the telephoto or even through the main camera with 1.5x or 2x zoom? 

Not being able to shoot portraits zoomed in is an inconvenience, especially with a telephoto lens provided.

I have sent many feedback via this app. As usual samsung admin will reply with a same message that they will pass on to the technical team. S20 have this feature and its 47k phone and if its technically not possible, the admin should reply this to the customer

It is possible . I am using GCAM and portrait mode works with 3x telephoto lens . Infact telephoto with 3x in GCAM looks amazing if the persons outline is simple meaning hair is not messy and no specs condition. Edge detection in complex scenario is off. But if samsung wants then they can easily enable 3x portrait shots too.

Hello there. I installed gcam  but in portrait mode there are only 0.5x and 1x options. Is there any setting where I can activate the 3x camera?

It works fine. Definitely its not digital 3x zoom.
