Hi everyone,
Wishing you all a very Happy New Year! This post is mainly for those who have been using the Galaxy S23 for over 1.5 years.
I wanted to share my recent experience with my S23, which I’ve been using for the past 21 months. Overall, it’s been a great device, but over the last few months, the battery life had become terrible. It couldn’t even last half a day, despite stable Wi-Fi and low to medium usage. I tried resetting the device, but that didn’t help. Eventually, I went to the service center and had the battery replaced. It cost me around Rs. 3000, but it was completely worth it. Now, the phone easily delivers a screen-on time (SOT) of about 5 hours on 5G and 7+ hours on Wi-Fi with mixed usage. This battery replacement has revitalized my phone, and the backup feels almost as good as new. No more battery drain anxiety! If you’re using a flagship device with excellent performance and cameras, and you’re expecting at least two more years of software updates, I highly recommend getting the battery replaced. It’s a simple step that can significantly extend the life of your phone.

Not really. Got it done by Samsung only, they know how to open and close phone. They use proper equipments to take apart and re-seal the phone.

"Please be assured, as even after the repair, the specification and IP rating of the device still remains the same. As service centre ensure that the feature of device does not affect with the repair." This is the official statement from Samsung. Ofcourse I'm not gonna dunk my phone in water to test it, no brand provides cover against water damage anyway.
