Galaxy S
Hi Samsung Team,
I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE (One UI 6.1, Android 14), and I would like to request the following important security enhancements:
1️⃣ Prevent Access to Notification & Quick Settings When Screen is Locked
Even after enabling Secure Lock Settings > Lock network and security, users can still pull down the notification panel and access toggles like Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, Airplane Mode, etc. from the lock screen.
➡️ This is a serious security concern, especially in case of theft — someone can easily disconnect the phone from the internet before it's tracked.
2️⃣ Require PIN/Fingerprint to Power Off or Restart the Device
Currently, the phone can be turned off without unlocking, which allows someone to make the phone untraceable. I request a feature to require PIN or biometric authentication before powering off or restarting.
This feature is already available on some custom ROMs and competing OEMs. It would greatly enhance device security.
🙏 Feature Request Summary:
Option to fully disable pull-down of notification/quick panel on lock screen
Option to require PIN/fingerprint before power off or restart
These additions would improve security and protect against unauthorized access or theft. Please consider including this in future One UI updates.
Thanks in advance,
