Can anyone explain how protect battery works and what happens when I left my phone on charging while battery protect is on at night

Charging stops at 85% that will help by nit over charging the battery

Droning of battery is more and charging comes halt at 75% then again we have to switch off the plug and again after sometime it starts charge...

When "Protect Battery" is ON.. Charging stops at 85% instead of 100%.
So, if you left the phone on charging while Protect Battery is on over night/any time.. the highest Battery level (aka Charge percentage) you will get is 85%.
This mode protects your battery in long term.. as Modern batteries don't like to be charged above 80-90% or stay below 20-10%

You can leave your phone charging
.. overnight.
It will not be an Issue.. if you are using branded "25W" or "above 25W" "PD chargers".

Also make sure.. there is no Voltage fluctuations in your area at night... As Voltage fluctuations can harm any electronics.. and it is common in some area
