Potrait mode not working on Samsung S20 FE

Greetings 

Please guide that the portrait mode on my samsung galaxy s20 fe is unable to click portrait pictures in camera app but portrait video is working perfectly fine

Kindly help to resolve the issue

What error you're getting if any?

When i open portrait mode,just for 1 millisecond it appears READY in yellow colour then it never appears and say keep object within 1 to 1.5 metres
