I recently posted about getting green lines on my S23. I went to the service centre and got a job service request where the phone was inspected for physical damage. The call with the customer service and the supervisor returned the same "We don't offer free replacement for S23 as Samsung has not acknowledged any green line occurrence on S23 and our policy does not cover it even though there's no physical damage."

The supervisor even mentioned that even though it may have been triggered due to software update, heat generated or whatever the reason is, unless Samsung acknowledges that S23 series is also affected, there's nothing that can be done.

I dropped an email to the service head, I received a call with the same response.

Here's my dilemma. It was also stated that the Galaxy S21 and S22 series had similar problems, and Samsung had previously acknowledged the issue and had given the display replacements free of cost. Samsung is yet to recognise the same issue in the S23 series.

 I have come across several such reports on Samsung forums and community threads, where users of Galaxy S21, S22 and S23 series have experienced green/ pink/ white lines on the AMOLED screen immediately after software updates. In many cases, users have faced recurring problems even after repair, raising valid concerns about the durability of the screen or the interaction between software updates and display components.

I await to see if Samsung will take decisive action to prevent such issues from diminishing the experience of loyal users.

S23 ultra 2025 edition (s25U) ki sale india me jyada nhi hui hai. Isiliye samsung purane flagship ko aise hi khatam karta hai.

If there is any youtubers or influensers covering this problem in their youtube channels. Or if there is more number of cases brought to samsungs eyes. They might see this as a issue same as s21 and s22 series

No one will say anything. Samsung sponsor most of their videos. They will receive legal notice immediately if they say any word against them.
Untill s10, phones were good for 8 years. But now they compel to upgrade to almost same device at higher price every 2 years.

My s22 mobile display got Green line on 1st of Jan after software update out of warranty after repeated request samsung changed my mobile display free of cost samsung service center and samsung customer support don't provide free replacement open my galaxy app send email to Samsung care + you will get positive reply try

The free display change is applicable for just the S21 and S22 series display problems caused due to the updates. When i contacted them all they said is that this cant be handled by them as long as there isnt any information officialy from samsung regarding the S23 series. If there is a lot of people complaining about this issue and being Published in social media where samsung officials can see that the same issue with s21 and s22 series has occured even to their S23 series as well
