Recently I have updated my mobile with a software update. Suddenly I'm facing issues with my pattern. The pattern that I'm entering is definitely correct but it says that it is incorrect pattern ans asks me to try again. I faced the same issue for secure folder also but I reset the pattern there using the reset password option. But I'm unable to reset device pattern lock. Right now I'm managing it by biometrics but I need to get this fixed as it might give any problem in the future. Can someone help me on how to resolve this issue? How can we reset the pattern without factory reset?

PS: biometrics are working fine

All users are facing same problems since yesterday. Hoping for hotfix.

did you select other unlock option along with pattern? if it's like that then,open your device and reset pattern as well as biometric settings again from biometric and security option

changing anything in biometrics and security options will again ask for pattern. Also, I was smoothly using fingerprint to unlock my device. But unfortunately, Samsung put another awkward situation where in, if we do not use pattern for a long time, it will turn off biometrics and ask us pattern for security reasons. So, I was forced to do factory reset :(
