I brought the Samsung S20FE last week. Everything is very good in this phone except the display which is just **bleep**. Samsung using very pathetic amoled display in S20 FE. The amoled display seems like very cheap quality like that using in there M21 phone, which i used before. The display quality lower than a 20k phone. No colour contrast no HDR effect low brightness. Redmi note 10(a 13k) phone has better display than this phone. Samsung did very poor work with S series phone. I brought it for 37k but the phone seems like i am using some 15-16k phone while content consuming.

Worse display than redmi note 10. I am sure you got a faulty device.
However, both m21 and s20fe uses 1080p amoled display from samsung. The only difference on paper is 120hz and super amoled.

The display of S20 FE 5g is not that poor n comparing it with m21 is a kind of joke.
Users have experienced low brightness n delayed auto-brightness while switching from dark areas to direct sunlight, probably software optimization issue coz a ~700 nits display shouldn't have brightness issue, atleast.
It's also HDR 10+ certified still a certain app (Netflix) isn't supporting HDR content on it, no idea why!!!!
Bro I can understand ur frustration, just try to overlook these issues, if U can n be happier with rest of the positive n gr8 things of s20fe.
Sorry I wish I could be of more help.
Hv a gr8 day.

You are right. Colour accuracy is there but the colour deepness(colour contrast) is missing there due to which it seems not eye catching display.

r U still getting this faded or non-contrast effect after changing the screen mode to vivid in settings ?
U can do a force restart by using 2 buttons combo ( press n hold vol down + power button untill samsung logo reappears) n check if it's gone.
If it's still there U can replace the device ( if return date didn't exceed already), U also can contact Samsung support or do visit service center.
It's still very early days but don't make any further delays n keep us updated, plz. 👍

Go to Settings > Display > Screen mode > check if it's Vivid or Natural.

It may work if it's a software optimization issue or a bug, otherwise it doesn't.
