Did your phone fall inside water or something, cause water damages ,are the most common causes of overheating samsung phones

I did fall and corner right lcd got damaged but phone was working fine for few months only
now it started

To prevent certain issues with battery there is a function on settings called protect battery. If u activate it your phone won't over charge. On certain days I see my Note 10 plus does not charge over 89% when the protection is activated. See if it works. If not check if there are not too many apps on the background running.if none works rather take it to service center nd let them check it out.
