Oneui 6 update degraded the camera quality by a lot in S23U.

Hi, after updating to Oneui 6, my S23U is facing noise issues in default 12MP mode, image is too noisy and lacks details I'm using maximum quality optimisation with scene optimiser (even tried camera assistant with picture softening turned to high but no luck), even cleared data for camera app, cleared cache etc but no luck. All Lens are clean not scratched at all and I'm not using any camera lens protectors. I'm attaching some samples comparing same pic take from same place and lightning from oneui 6 vs oneui 5.1

Aa you can see it's very bad and only happening in 12MP mode across all 0.6X, 1X, 3X & 10X lens in default/portrait/food & sometimes night mode (not happening with 50MP/200MP mode) I urge Samsung to fix it asap.

After OneUI 6 update, the camera especially the night mode as well as low light conditions, it's working like a low end device than what we expect from s23 ultra, I felt I should've opted for iPhone than s23 after comparing the picture side to side.

Just use expert RAW till samsung fixes this, it works flawlessly and there's no noise at all.

Expert RAW is doing over sharpening and giving over saturated output, any tweaks to be done?

Expert "raw" means it's capturing raw images, there is no post processing at all unless you save it as a jpeg too, and still in my use case scenario images are not at all sharp or over saturated, rest you can try turning off auto HDR and shoot pics in 12MP mode.

Still the pics look over exposed and cheap, it's not acceptable for a latest flagship, even with expert RAW, it looks like **bleep**.

You certainly don't know how to use expert raw, because images taken from expert raw might not look pleasing to everyone cuz they are unprocessed and contain raw information which is to be edited in 3rd party software, and I gave the suggestion to use expert raw because there's no noise in those shots, remember you can always edit raw shots to look however you like them to, but you can't fix noise in images without loosing details. Stock cam is indeed still bad in low light unless you used dedicated night mode which fixes everything but still it should be seamless across every mode.

Think I made mistake buy s23ultra after one ui 6 update camera literally became trash and its done intentionally..to make room for s24u..now that auto hdr it doesn't work in majority cases and pics look like 10..15k phone taken from..and what's the use of ois in pics even just a little moment causes blur pics whereas taken with same movement in iphone 13 pics looks crystal clear..don't know what samsung is doing with updates in s23u..they will realize soon until people sift to iphone as paying 1 lac plus and we need stable experience no matter what uodate you give...

It's already confirmed in members korea that with Oneui 6.1, dehazer & denoiser algorithm will be fixed till then I'll suggest you to use expert raw, it still works flawlessly.

**bleep** u were right about the noise...will give one more try to samsung in one ui 6.1 if it solves all issues with canera with use further otherwise the next will sell my s23u and buy 15pmax and won't come tp samsung ever again..have tried 15pm there isn't noticeable noise ..no matter how much dark the scene is and its hdr works always ..unlike our s23u

Buy anything you like lol idc.. im just telling you how i got over the issues by simply using expert raw.
