One UI7

Tell me, how'd you personalize your home screens, and what awesome new stuff are you guys digging?

My suggestion is to not update to One UI 7 and there are a lot of reasons for me saying so.
1. The pill widgets are horrendous, it's like samsung hired some amateur UI designer to do the work. Every widget takes up so much space except it doesn't use any of it there's so much gaps between widgets. Don't even get me started on the padding and curves of those widgets.
2. They have a very serious issue with using a standard font and I say this because the font for app names on the homescreen is much smaller than the standard sizes. This is not just a homescreen issue, you'll see this problem lurking around throughout the OS.
3. Agreed that the Now bar and other AI features are quite fancy but to my eyes every other customisation feature or even the now bar in that case feels like a cheap knock off of it's IOS counterparts, there's absolutely no difference now. They've even brought the feature of having the control panel and notifications as separate entities which can be accessed by pulling down from either side of the screen top.
Originality and creativity as we know it is indeed dead .
4. I don't see any performance or battery related upsides or downsides as of now so I can't be the judge of that but other users have reported something of the similar sort.
5. Last but not the least, THE ICONS. Damnit man I feel like I gave my phone away to a toddler and now the app icons are set up as per their liking.
Personally I think the designers at samsung are the perfect example of weaponized Incompetency, cuz bro you had one job and it's shambolic.

In every angle your answer is correct and they are literally littering over a previously good and i quote "Used to be the best of all uis, The One UI of Samsung" which they totally ruined it by their own hands as well as their reputation is now being compared with Chinese manufacturers instead of infamous Apple Inc. Products.

Before they were two young brothers who were always competitive as every good way that is in terms of innovation, technologies, significant upgrades over previous generations.

But now, samsung is acting like that out of mind friend who tries to mimic apple but in even worsens than apple.
