ONE UI 7 for TAB S8 Review ....✅✅MUST READ ⚠️ ⚠️

Umm so first of I'd like to say this .....thank you samsung for finally giving the update to the TAB S8 series after a long waiting period...... honestly it was frustrating to wait for this long to finally get the update now let me tell you about the update The Good & The Bad.

PROS😁

1️⃣.The Brand new animations , they really elevates the experience for the tab S8 , I'm using the TAB S8 for almost 2 years now and in the past two years with previous ONE UI skins , the tablet used to feel laggy and slow the animations were not good at all , it almost made the tablet feel like a low budget tablet instead of a flagship so to make it appear fast i had to use developer option and lower the transition time to 0.5x from 1x .

But with the New OneUI 7 it has changed completely....the tab even on 60Hz feels super smooth and 120Hz is now a breeze...super smooth animation just gave the tablet a brand new life.....and you'll definitely notice it with every task be it swiping down the notification panel or opening and closing the app.

2️⃣- AI--- For the last two years the major selling point for samsung has been it's AI , but being honest there's not much changes....like no major new AI update....but the ones which were present there , they now process faster and provide better results...so I highly appreciate that....the generative AI which I usually use now works much better compared to previous AI Available in One UI 6.1.1 and there's not much Except the SAMSUNG Notes now support "MATHS SOLVER" though I'm not sure as this especially came after ONE UI 7 as it's not mentioned in the Update. But yeah it's there though it's not as good as Apples but it works 90% fine since sometimes it misunderstood the handwriting that's why I'm pointing this.

3️⃣-Battery usage .....Now with the new update, I've seen my tab not consuming as much battery as it used to while watching YouTube and streaming on other platforms....i mean the difference isn't much.....but it's noticable like 10-15% improvement and that too without turning on the Power Saving mode.

4️⃣-Efficient Ram Management....not much to say about this ....but yeah the idle ram consumption is less.... earlier it was 4.5GB without any app opened , now it's around 3.9-4.1GB without any app opened.

5️⃣-New Design and Icons ....the final major thing is the Redesign of the app drawer and widgets and the notification panel and the NEW ICONS....now I know for some it's subjective....but I really appreciated this new change ...it now feels even less cluttered and easily accessible with bold designs.

CONS😡

1️⃣-No App Archive features--- though one of the most hyped features for Android 15...App archiving to save space on the internal storage... App archiving is not available on TAB S8 but available on mobile devices.

2️⃣- *Now touch to hold Video slow mo*....now this feature can be made available to everyone who uses a flagship but if it's a chip limitations that it couldn't slow the video like the new device can...then I don't mind as it would've been a gimmick feature for me only.

3️⃣-No audio Eraser .... I guess that's exclusive to TAB S10 and Upcoming TABs.

4️⃣-Lags in UI  .....Though the animations and UI is super smooth now ....there have been some instances where I found the UI lagging a little, but it's not as much as it's there in ONE UI 6.1.1 , it's only happened once or twice in my 5-6 hours of usage.

5️⃣-No Side Swiping horizontal app drawer...... The new ONE UI 7 does bring a new Vertical App drawer which is good , as some people really preferred this style ....but for people like me who like the previous style .....they now don't have the option to switch back to the same app drawer.....the format is still available...but You can't have a alphabetically arranged horizontal app drawer.....simple fix would be to allow users to choose which app drawer they want Vertical and alphabetically arranged or , Horizontal and Alphabetically arranged... it'll be the best of both worlds.

6️⃣- Missing AI stickers......So basically this version of AI was marketed with generative sticker features via your keyboard like apple ....

Turns out that feature is also missing in the TAB S8 though it's available in S10 series or maybe also there in TAB S9 series...but it's not available for TAB S8

So that's it guys my Initial Review for the new One UI 7 based on Android 15 for Samsung TabS8.....I know there are lots of minor things which I've left out , but they weren't major changes a fix here and a fix there ! But as I'll use the TAB more and more after this Update I'll keep Editing the REVIEW and add more PROS and CONS which I'll find.
