I just bought Galaxy S20 + few days back and I am not totally satisfied with this one.
1. No 120 Hz like experience at all during going through apps. earlier i had One-plus 7 pro which had 90 Hz display and it ran like butter. But coming to galaxy, i feel like i made a wrong decision.
2. no in-built app lock which is deal breaker for me. Also other app lock on app store are very laggy.
Blame oneui 3 animations, its slow AF But scrolling is butter here, you were running oos 10, and its animations are snappier. So you may be feeling it slow coz of oneui 3. Oneui 2.5 was snappy and it was butter. It will improve with future updates. Btw why did you switch from op7 pro?
