Hi
I did not see any app locker in samsung s22 ultra. Not expecting this from samsung. There is no privacy for any application and no features to hide the notification content, clearly read out my all private messages in notification bar. 30k phone are give much better features then s22 ultra really disappointing to buy this phone.

I assumed it because you assumed that only your perspective is correct. It IS an applock because it fullfils the objectives of an applock.
1)it locks the app
2) maximum security in the Android world.
All it requires is an extra touch. I will take the extra security anyday over that "inconvenience" of the painfull extra touch I have to make.
However some people needs the gimmicky assurance of an app lock which is actually nothing but just an excuse for security.

I pitched with the ONLY solution practically available right now. I am open to better alternatives from you.

Cumbersome?? You serious bro?

If it's not that important, why do you need an app lock in the first place? For aesthetics?

How is it not an applock? Please enlighten me. Also what is the use of an applock? I am listening.

3rd party apps are not a solution and they are not secure and privacy centric.

So when you use app lock to lock your email ,you still have to use face id or fingerprint everytime you want to see a mail!! That's the same thing with secure folder.

Here let me waste my time for the last time on this and explain it in the most simple manner.

Scenario one : app lock - locked app WhatsApp.

When you receive a message - you have to click on the app and then use the key/fingerprint.( So 2 clicks)

Scenario 2 - secure folder

Recieved a message - you have to open the secure folder and enter the key/fingerprint, then open the app(3 clicks in total)
Well that extra click is indeed painful and cumbersome!!

Peace out mate.. ✌️

FYI it's not me who suggested secure folder first under this post. The OP asked about privacy options available to lock apps and notification content. So we chipped in with the only solution to his problem. It's you who came in with unnecessary interception. Read the OP again. He wanted a native app to hide his app contents, especially notifications.

Lol nobody trusts a 3rd party app with sensitive info. It's NOT a solution!
Anyways you know what? Playing dumb to save energy is a type of self care.

Yeah then don't use it. Samsung won't be providing that useless s secure app anyways. So you can either learn to use secure folder or not lock your apps.

Why unnecessary learning for secure folder just provide the simple features to lock your app directly and it is very easy too use

So don't use it! Wait for the day when Samsung provides you an AppLock of your liking (which will never happen).

Yes you are right. It works like setting up the PIN or PASSWORD in the phone settings. I don't like secure folder either.
