Galaxy SPower off your device, make sure it's off then press and hold the volume up button and the power button till the phone boots up, you'll see some options, using the volume rocker, navigate downwards to "repair app" that did it for me. I wiped the partition first before I used the repair app option. Not sure if it's a combination of both or repair app option only that did it.
