The news regarding a One UI 7 update for Samsung Galaxy S series in October 2024 is not entirely accurate. Samsung has indeed showcased some features of One UI 7 at its recent developer conference, but the stable release is expected to arrive in 2025, likely alongside the launch of the Galaxy S25 series.
However, a beta version might be available before the end of 2024, which will allow users to test the new interface changes earlier.

So, while you won't get the full One UI 7 update in October 2024, the beta might roll out soon.
