Hello members,

I would like to know I have as 23 ultra from Vietnam and would like to know can I use the other brand charger since Samsung is not providing any.

Is it really mandatory or required to purchase official Samsung branded charger only?

For example
Stuffcool Nova 65W GaN Charger Made in India 3 Ports Supports Samsung PPS Super Fast Charging 2.0,

But will that cause the problem to the device in future? So far due to companies are cause cutting they are not providing the charger. So it is really required to purchase the appropriate one than oem brand companies.

There is no issue with using a 3rd party charger, but to support superfast charging, the charger needs to support PPS (programmable power supply) standard. There are many third party chargers you can try like the cmf charger, anker, spigen, belkin, etc. Just make sure you use a good usb cable, otherwise the usb port of ur device may get damaged. Also make sure to use a 45w+ charger to support superfast charging 2.0. Additionally u need to purchase a 100w usb c cable, the cable in the box only supports upto 35w.

Personally I use a samsung 65w charger with three ports.

As I know s23 ultra supports maximum 45 w charging. So if I purchase 65w charger, it will be still consume required current that is 5 ampere and power of 45 watt if supported 5 ampere cable is connected. So purchasing 65 watt charger will really work?

Charger should support PPS standard, if it doesn't support pps, it will charge at 20W over usb PD charging standard.

If Charger has pps support, is 25W or higher, it will support super fast charging

If charger supports pps, is 45W or higher, and the charging cable is a 5amp cable, it will support superfast charging 2.0 at 45W peak.

You can use higher wattage charger, but the phone will only accept 45w max input.

Yes yes exactly that's my point. Is it really ok to invest more money for 65w charger rather purchase exact equivalent watt charger?

For example there are few chargers which have multi ports for which 65w will be distributed to all ports if multiple device connected else port one will generally support maximum throughput.

As I talk to Samsung customer care they say always use original charger which of course they don't provide 😂

So taking third party but reliable company charges will be okay right? If the support appropriate charging technology like for Samsung PPS + Gan charging + 45w+5a cable.

Hello brother, I just checked specifications of both the chargers I gave link earlier,

Spigen PE2212 supports Total 65W Output and Super Fast Charging Max 25W for Samsung Galaxy series

The CMF Power 65W GaN works with all major fast charging protocols, including PD3.0, QC4.0+/3.0/2.0, SCP, FCP, PPS, AFC, Samsung 9V2A, DCP, and Apple 2.4A

Maybe the cmf one supports, but the spigen one definitely doesn't support superfastchargin2.0
