Galaxy SDon't worry. Samsung has recently released a notice- Samsung is aware of this phenomenon which may appear on Galaxy devices with Android 11(R OS) and this issue will be resolved with upcoming Phone/Contacts app updates, 12.1.06.0 or later version.
Before improved app version is available in the market, you can access Samsung Phone/Contacts app without problem after merging the duplicated contacts information thru 3rd party app.

Galaxy SYeah, where you will receive an answer to clear the cache partition or reset the phone to factory settings which won't solve the issue, despite this you will close this topic in the coming days.
I also have this issue on an S20+ (EU), please fix.
