Previously, there was a setting option that would let you separate media sounds - notification sounds would play on the phone speaker while your music would continue uninterrupted on your buds. I can't seem to find that option anymore. Has this been actually removed? Or is it there but works differently? Appreciate any help in this regard.

P.S: Would be a bummer if they got rid of such a great feature 😐

I understand your frustration with the missing "separate app sound" feature. It's definitely disappointing when a useful setting disappears after an update.

Samsung did make some changes to audio settings and options in recent One UI updates, and it's possible that the feature you're looking for has been moved, renamed, or even removed.

Here's what I recommend checking:

Sound Assistant App: This is a Good Lock module developed by Samsung.

Install/Update Sound Assistant: If you haven't already, download or update the Sound Assistant app from the Galaxy Store.

Custom Volume Settings: Open Sound Assistant and look for a setting called "Individual app volumes" or something similar. This might allow you to control the volume output for individual apps.

Check Accessibility Settings: While it's less likely, some audio routing options can sometimes be found in the Accessibility settings. Go to Settings > Accessibility and explore the Audio settings to see if there's anything related to separating app sounds.

Bluetooth Settings: Go to Settings > Connections > Bluetooth. Tap the settings icon next to your connected earbuds. Some devices allow you to configure specific audio settings for each Bluetooth device.

If none of these suggestions work, it's possible that the feature has been removed in your current One UI version.

I recommend you can also reach out to others by checking the Samsung online community, Reddit, and online forums about your situation, to see if others have discovered any new methods for separating app sounds.
