Loud disturbing noise on the earpiece of S22 Ultra while making calls.

A peculiar  problem has started in my Galaxy S22 Ultra. While making calls, the earpiece buzzes and makes loud disturbing noise making everything inaudible but putting it on the loudspeaker fixes it temporarily. This keeps going on until the phone is restarted. This happens frequently. Anyone facing this kind of issue in India?

That sounds like a hardware issue,but someone else also reported this. Anyways please visit the service center and replace your device.

I think this is a software issue, otherwise a mere restart should not have fixed it and this is occasional.

Will they replace my device because of this? And I can't give them a proper demo of my problem because this has happened only twice so far.

You can tell them the issue and demand a replacement. A premium customer should not adjust with such issues.

Is it a Beep sound before connecting the call.. and are you on airtel services ?

Yes. But this happens on JIO as well.

It use to happen in my note 20 ultra. With airtel. Cleared with software update. Pl report to Samsung when this happens along with log

Yes I did. I called Samsung Support Team. They took control of my phone remotely via Smart Tutor and cleared the cache and data of couple of Samsung modules. Let's see what happens.
