J7 Prime and S7Edge fingerprints scanner?

S7 is triple the price of J7 Prime. But features in j7 price is good like unlock phone without pressing home button and then fingerprints. 2nd is we can hide apps in j7 prime though both phones have Nougout 7.0

reason behind this difference?

Thanks for being with Samsung and sharing your concern. We would like to inform you that in Samsung device every device detect the fingerprint after waking up so fingerprint features is same in both device. Be sure to hit ♡ when you find an answer that works for you.

No, when J7 is locked its fingerprint sensor working in background and you have to just put your finger for scanning. but in s7 you have to first press home button and then fingerprint scanner activate.

coz J7 has always on fingerprint and didn't sleep when device is off but S7 doesn't have one so need to wake the device first.

yes, but is this something samsung can solve with software..update or its hardware..

I think its a hardware feature coz then they would have given it in Nougat update.
