Hey Guys,

After submitting too many logs and error repor samsung finally had addressed the main issue..

The issue reported:

1. Device Overheating - Device overheats too much even in normal use. 

2. Excessive Battery Drain - even after putting almost all the apps in deep sleep, turning on Adaptive Power saving.

Reply by samsung. 

So i guess we shall further wait for the update, lets see wether they had Addressed the Elephant of the problem or not. Otherwise we will proceed they way we were going i.e. via Petetion.

After updating the Samsung s20 fe till facing overheating issue

what is hapening brand new samsung s20 fe  battery drains   just 1 day of purchas ,screan time 2.5 timmer from 100% to 10% ,this is unacceptable.

My old samsung S10e has a battery that lasts longer after 2 years of use.

Hello, I purchased this phone 3 days ago and I think I have the same problem. Did Samsung released the fix for the batery drain issues?

Factually yes... but there is also a walk-around to increse it further..

Just use your phone for 2-3 weeks so that phone learns your usage pattern and Adaptive battery also learns your app uage for sleeping and deep sleeping...

Once its done... then just simply goto device care and turn off "Put Inused apps to sleep" under background usage limit... and also turn off "Adaptive battery" under More battery settings.. (both are available in Device Care)...


This workaround is only for Exynos Devices... though it takes a bit of time but it will eventually increase the battery backup and Heat issue...
