Its processor problem i guess you cant do any thing.

Actually nothing can be done. Use power saving mode and use in cool environment. It will overheat in 30min instead of 20minutes . Only samsung can help with update

Is there anything we can do ourself or only samsung will do ?

Only samsung can do it with an update... i too am facing severe overheat issue.. sometimes my phone reaches to 52deg without even any warning

My phone never heat that much but I got overheating warning in just 20 or 30 mint or sometime even less than without any heating.

Yeah the s20 series is plagued with that issue... all i will suggegst you to turn on the Adaptive Power Saving mode, not a permanent solution but it sometimes helps to keep the phone cool, and wait till samsung fixes the issue with an Update. And if you are gaming then goto game booster plus and turn on battery saving. It won't impact the game much but will help to not get the phone overheated quickly.
