I currently have Galaxy S24 Ultra with One UI 6.1 .
Sometimes I encounter an issue where I close/minimize some apps (example netflix, instagram etc.) but the sound which was being played in those apps keeps on playing, whereas in expected scenario the sound must stop as soon as app is minimized.

For example, if I am scrolling some reels on instagram and then I just minimize the app then after random time (around 2-10 seconds later or maybe even a minute later) that app randomly starts playing that audio. Also in notification panel there is no notification that from which app it is being played or no option to pause it. Moreover, its very annoying to find out that particular app out of all the opened apps that which app is playing that audio.

Did anyone else also faced this issue ?

Also this issue is very very random and happens very rarely but when it does, its a headache to find which app to close (or reopening that particular app from minimized state and then again minimizing also helps)

The issue you're experiencing, where minimized apps continue to play sound, can be frustrating. This problem might be related to the way Android handles background audio playback. Here are some potential causes and solutions:

Potential Causes
1. *Background audio playback permission*: Some apps might have been granted permission to continue playing audio in the background.
2. *Android's media session management*: Android's media session management system might not be properly handling the audio playback when you minimize apps.
3. *One UI 6.1-specific issue*: This could be a bug or an issue specific to the One UI 6.1 update.

Solutions
1. *Check app permissions*: Go to _Settings_ > _Apps_ > _Permissions_ > _Background audio playback_ and review the list of apps with this permission. Revoke permission for apps that don't require it.
2. *Disable background audio playback for specific apps*: For apps like Netflix and Instagram, go to _Settings_ > _Apps_ > _[App name]_ > _Mobile data_ and disable _Background data_ or _Background audio playback_.
3. *Clear app cache and data*: Clearing the cache and data for the affected apps might resolve the issue. Go to _Settings_ > _Apps_ > _[App name]_ > _Storage_ > _Clear cache_ and _Clear data_.
4. *Check for software updates*: Ensure your device is running the latest software. Go to _Settings_ > _Software update_ > _Download and install_.
5. *Perform a factory reset*: If none of the above steps resolve the issue, you may want to consider performing a factory reset. However, please backup your important data before doing so.

If you're still experiencing the issue after trying these solutions, it's possible that this is a bug or an issue specific to the One UI 6.1 update. You may want to reach out to Samsung support or visit a Samsung service center for further assistance.

Here are some potential causes and solutions:

Potential Causes
1. *Android Audio Focus*: Android's audio focus system allows apps to request audio focus, which can sometimes lead to unexpected behavior.
2. *App-specific issues*: Some apps might not be properly handling audio focus or background playback.
3. *One UI or Android bugs*: Software bugs or glitches can cause unexpected behavior.

Troubleshooting Steps
1. *Check app settings*: Review the settings of the affected apps (e.g., Netflix, Instagram) to see if they have any options related to background playback or audio focus.
2. *Disable Background Playback*: Go to Settings > Apps > [Affected App] > Mobile data > Background data usage, and toggle off "Allow background data usage."
3. *Clear App Cache and Data*: Clear the cache and data of the affected apps to see if it resolves the issue.
4. *Update Apps*: Ensure all apps are updated to the latest version.
5. *One UI Software Update*: Check for any available software updates for your Galaxy S24 Ultra.
6. *Reset App Preferences*: Go to Settings > Apps > Menu (three dots) > Reset app preferences.

Workarounds
1. *Force Stop the App*: When the issue occurs, try force-stopping the suspected app.
2. *Reopen and Minimize the App*: As you mentioned, reopening the app and minimizing it again might resolve the issue temporarily.

Reporting the Issue
If none of the above steps resolve the issue, consider reporting it to:

1. *Samsung Support*: Reach out to Samsung's customer support for further assistance.
2. *Google Feedback*: Provide feedback to Google about the issue, as it might be related to Android.

Keep in mind that this issue might be specific to certain apps or scenarios, so it's essential to provide detailed information when reporting the issue.
