Is light sensor provided in samsung phones?

I am using s20 fe 5G. And this is my second samsung phone. I noticed light sensor is not present in both of my phones then how samsung phones done adaptive brightness. And sometimes it didn't respond to low light to briing screen brightness to low. Anyone know about this?

Uses the front camera to adjust the screen brightness..

And this is one the major reason for constant battery drain

S20 FE 5G has ambient light sensor...
Download sensor box app from play store & open...
It will show all the sensors that's present on the device🙂

I heard that samsung provide ambient light sensor in s series phones.But still adaptive brightness not working properly.

Go to settings>apps, then enable show system apps then search for a system app named "BrightnessBNR" & then clear its data...
After clearing turn adaptive Brightness off then turn on again.
It will then work perfectly...😇✌️
