Is Samsung S20 ultra 5G a scam ?

I am using Samsung's flagship model S20 ultra 5G (SM-G988B). Does anybody can give an authentic answer about it's 5G compatibility ? 

In Settings (Mobile network) we have option to choose 5G network. 

Currently I am living in India. Neither Airtel 5G nor Jio 5G is supported in this device. But 5G is supported for both network through my OnePlus device.

 Can we expect any further update from Samsung for this solution ?

Or isn't possible?

So here is my understanding. Before 5G was launched, most manufacturers locked 5G via their software. Reason - Back in the days, our phones would move to H+ when 4G was not available and come back to 4G when the network was available. So, in the background our phones were searching continuously for 4G network as the device gives 4G a higher priority than H+. The continuous search drains your battery.

Now before 5G was launched, companies had to ensure that our phones don't keep searching for 5G and drain the battery. So many manufacturers locked the 5G option via a software update.

I use a Fold 3 and got the 5G software update about 15 days ago. So your's might be on its way.

Actually 5G services given by Jio based on standalone network. For which update not released by samsung till date. Its been more than a month but still samsung unable to make network software update. This delay actually make people restless. We don't need Android 13. But atleast they should give the 5G network settings. Same i experiencing with S20fe5G and fade up with samsung services now

Bro u have to change csc for band supports , bands alag honge , but apke pass option hai , pehle chk krlena konsa csc konse band support krta hai phir apne phone ka csc change krdena uspe , simple usi k usi time instant 5g chal pdega dnt wry
