Galaxy SDear Samsung Support,
I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra in the US. I have been unable to use Jio 5G in India on my device, despite Jio 5G being available in the country. After reviewing the specifications and 5G bands listed on both the Samsung website (https://www.samsung.com/us/smartphones/galaxy-s24-ultra/buy/galaxy-s24-ultra-512gb-unlocked-sm-s928u...) and the Jio website (https://www.jio.com/help/faq/mobile/jio-true-5g/about-5g/what-are-the-bands-on-which-jio-5g-is-avail...), I noticed that Jio 5G operates on the n28, n78, and n258 bands, which were listed as supported by the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra on the Samsung website.
I have attached screenshots from both the Samsung and Jio websites for reference.
Despite this, I am currently unable to use Jio 5G in India on my device. Could you kindly clarify the reason for this, and provide any insights for users like myself who are facing this issue?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Karthick Venkatesan

Galaxy SDear Samsung Support,
Thank you for your response. You mentioned that the issue is due to the device being an "out of India variant." However, the US version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra supports the necessary 5G bands (n28, n78, and n258) required for Jio 5G. Given that, I am curious why it is not supported in India, even though the device has the required bands.
Please refer to the Samsung and Jio websites for confirmation:
(https://www.samsung.com/us/smartphones/galaxy-s24-ultra/buy/galaxy-s24-ultra-512gb-unlocked-sm-s928u...) and the Jio website (https://www.jio.com/help/faq/mobile/jio-true-5g/about-5g/what-are-the-bands-on-which-jio-5g-is-avail...),
Additionally, I have attached a screenshot for your reference. Kindly go through it and respond accordingly.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Karthick Venkatesan

Galaxy SI have already submitted a complaint to Jio, and they have advised me to reach out to Samsung support for assistance with this issue. That's why I contacted Samsung.
