I recently bought s23 ultra and battery life is not upto the mark.
For first few days it didn't bother me as it was learning usage patterns but even after that idle battery drain **bleep**. Even on sleep mode which has advance power saver with all apps restricted it is still sucking battery out with no reason.
Anyone esle facing these issues in may security patch.

I have made changes to a few settings which helped reduce idle drain.
1. Turn off Wifi Calling
2. Turn off emerygency Location and Earthquake Alerts
3. Setup a routine which saves power automatically (SS attached)
4. Turn off devices in Nearby Sharing
5. Turn off Find my Mobile both Google and Samsung (risky but it polls location too much)
6. Turn on Light profile under battery settings unless you want to game.
7. Turn on Adaptive Power Saving mode
8. Create routine to automatically switch to 5G and back when using some apps (SS attached)
9. Turn off Alert when Phone picked up under Motions and Gestures. It keeps the sensors on and drains lot of battery.
10. I am using Jio and Vi SIMs and i keep Jio on 5G /4G but keep Vi only on 2G for calls and SMS which keeps network more stable and reduces drain.
11. Turn off RAM Plus

With all these, i managed to get the idle drain down to around 1% for the whole night of 8 hrs sleep

Hope it helps.

PS: i have turned these features off because i dont use these and prioritize battery life as i am mostly travelling. Your usage might vary.

Face unlock, Bluetooth and auto brightness also takes up some battery. Instead of adaptive power saving go for power saving that will limit processor to 70% and also disable 5G. Secure folder keeps running in background

Adaptive power saving just turns on the power saving mode as per our usage patterns right? Do you mean I should keep it on always instead of adaptive?

Adaptive will keep power saving off till battery drops till certain % and then will be turned on but power saving will keep it on until it is turned off and you can choose options in it, 5G off, AOD off etc. Saves some more battery. You can try them out as you said you travel a lot. If 3700 mAh is doing good to you then 5000 or 6000 mAh can do wonders

Ohhh ok.. i will try that way too. Thanks for the suggestion. I like to use AOD on tap only. And 5G is usually off except the routine saved above

You can try these routines Screenshot_20230702_122359_Samsung Members.jpgScreenshot_20230702_122350_Samsung Members.jpg
